FINANCIAL AID

Financial assistance is offered to Emmanuel Christian School students in grades K-12 provided the financial resources are available and a true need exists.  Since Emmanuel Christian School is a ministry of the church, the school must be self-supporting.  Therefore, those who need financial assistance are encouraged to contact their church first.

  • Application for financial assistance must be made by going to the NAIS website at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss
  • A student who has been enrolled for one full year before being considered for financial assistance will receive priority status.
  • Decision-making process:

The NAIS website will provide initial screening and recommendations to the Financial Assistance Committee who will make all decisions related to financial assistance.  Each family submitting a request will be notified in writing of the committee’s decision.  If approved, the letter will disclose the financial assistance and conditions of the financial assistance provided.

Need-based Financial Aid Guidelines

Applications for our need based Financial Aid program can be found and filed online at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss.  The application deadline for consideration is May 31, 2009.  Any applications received after this date will be awarded aid as available based on need.  No decision for aid will be made until the student has completed the admission process and has been accepted for enrollment.  If applying for aid by mail, all applications must be sent directly to School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS).

Whether by mail or online all SSS applicants must also submit in writing to the ECS Business Office a letter of explanation for aid desired.  This letter should include the student’s name, grade applying to, the specific dollar amount that the applicant’s family can reasonable afford in an annual tuition amount and the circumstances surrounding the need for aid.  Regardless of level of aid all applicants must pay the full application fee, student activity fees and tuition insurance which will be based on the level of aid awarded.
